Description
I titled this photograph, “Trumpets Sound” from the Hallelujah Skies series.
Hallelujah is an ancient Hebrew word meaning, “Praise God or Praise the Lord.”
Psalm 19:1 says, “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims His handiwork.” (ESV) Here we see the heavenly skies and creation itself announcing the beauty and greatness of God in every changing scene—proclaiming God as the Creative Master and Designer of the entire universe and all things in it.
All the photographs in this series were taken off my deck, overlooking Amador County toward the High Sierras of California.
The sky scene in this photo overwhelmingly declares God’s majesty, like Trumpets blasting from heaven to announce the returning King of Kings.
Mounted on an aluminum metal surface and using high-quality inks, this artwork will stand the test of time while remaining easy to clean and care for. The vivid colors are luminous and intensify the scene.
