Say it with Flowers
A scene of humility and forgiveness is in question here. A young man approaches a fair maiden and humbly apologizes for something with flowers in his hand, hoping she’ll respond with forgiveness in her heart. In the scene, her posture and expression is saying she hasn’t yet made up her mind, which is where some of the mystery is yet to unfold.
The Bible says that “Love covers all transgressions.” Proverbs 10:12 Jesus is the ultimate example of this type of love, as He demonstrated on the cross. So, the viewer is left to decide if the maiden will respond in an act of love and forgiveness or an act of rejection and bitterness.
